Appeal for info after wheelchair user's phone stolen in West Bromwich

Police have released images of a man they want to speak in connection with the theft of a mobile phone on a West Bromwich street.

West Midlands Police has released a CCTV image of a man officers want to speak to following the incident on June 20.

The force said a wheelchair user dropped their phone on Cronehills Linkway, before it was picked up and taken.

Officers have asked for anyone with any information to get in touch.

A spokesman for Sandwell Police said: "We want to speak to this man after a mobile phone was stolen in West Bromwich.

"A wheelchair user dropped their phone along Cronehills Linkway and it was then picked up and taken.

"It happened at around 2.45pm on June 20 and anyone with information can contact us via 101, and quote 20/281056/25."
