Adam Jones death: Man, 23, is arrested hit-and-run tragedy
A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged hit-and-run death of Black Country teenager Adam Jones.
The 15-year-old was struck by a Volkswagen Bora as he crossed at the junction of Beacon View Road and Walsall Road in West Bromwich with his bike on March 26.
The driver left the scene of the collision, sparking a manhunt.
An appeal to trace the driver was shown during half time of West Bromwich Albion's match with QPR on Saturday.
Police said the suspect had been bailed.
Sgt Paul Hughes, from West Midlands Police's Collision Investigation Unit said: "While the arrest is a significant step forward, the investigation is far from over. I have been overwhelmed by the amount of information and support for the family received by the public, in particular through social media.
"I would ask that anyone who has information continues to contact us by calling 101 or Crimestoppers, confidentially on 0800 555 111."
Images of the car that struck that struck Adam's bike were shown on the big screen at half time of Albion's match, along with a plea from Baggies goalkeeper Ben Foster.

Thousands of fans inside the Hawthorns applauded after the appeal was shown.
Last week, Adam's mother Mandy made a desperate appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
