Long-standing Midlands business celebrates move to huge new premises which were formerly home to Amazon
A Midlands-based leading supplier of industrial maintenance chemicals, lubricants, adhesives and cleaning products has completed its first UK site relocation in 40 years - moving to a huge former Amazon base.
Orapi Maintenance UK's move to a new, state-of-the-art 57,000 sq ft facility at Britannia Point, Wednesbury, highlights its commitment to supporting British manufacturing, safeguarding local jobs and delivering unmatched technical expertise to customers across automotive, rail, aerospace, food production and general manufacturing sectors, bosses said.
A trusted partner for facilities across the UK and beyond for more than 50 years, with more than 1,000 products, seven research and development labs and customers in more than 40 countries, the business has grown by prioritising guidance and its technical expertise over a sales-driven approach.
Many members of the team boast extensive experience having been with the company for years; the average length of service is 25 years.
“Too many suppliers let maintenance engineers down with guesswork. We provide the guidance and technical insight that truly keeps facilities running at their best," UK division director David East said.
