118 Print & Design has also enlisted the services of a marketing agency to create engaging content for the company’s social media platforms.

Established in 2011 the company was formed by managing director Mel Charles and sales director James Hadley-Smith.

118 Print & Design prides itself in giving back to the local community.

The company formed and sponsor a five-a-side football team for under eights based at Rushall Football Club via ACE Academy to provide children with opportunities to build confidence, team bonding and create a sense of community belonging. During the Covid-19 pandemic the business donated PPE equipment to local businesses free of charge.

They have continued this support by donating free face masks to businesses in Walsall who are providing ongoing elderly and hospice care.

118 Print & Design managing director Mel Charles said: “The funding from Walsall Business Support has been fantastic and we can’t thank them enough for their support.

“We need to be able to compete with the big players and the donation will allow us to market the business and ensure our software and equipment is evolving with the industry.

“As a local business we recognise the importance of supporting the community and have pledged to continue to support and sponsor the football team as well as donating to charities close to our hearts for as long as the business remains successful."

Walsall Business Support board member Angela Henderson said: “118 Print & Design are a fantastic business with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service whilst supporting their community. It’s great to meet a Walsall business who is sharing the rewards of their success with those who need it most. We wish Mel and James all the success in the future.”
