'This was our highest grossing auction ever,' Bond Wolfe's CEO said as £33 million sale record hit
Bond Wolfe has set a new record of £33,633,123 of sales at its July auction held on Thursday July 10, making it the largest property auction ever to be held outside the capital.
A very busy day saw 175 lots offered, the most this year, with 157 sold.
The marketing of the July auction also produced another record for the highest amount of website page views ever – at 1,434,246.
Keen property hunters watched 37,426 video tours and downloaded 43,231 legal packs.
The latest result brings Bond Wolfe’s auction sales total for 2025 to £103,675,407 – so far.
Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This was our highest grossing auction ever, and with 175 being the most lots offered this year and the highest percentage sold, at an industry-leading 91%, it was an outstanding result.
“There was strong demand from buyers throughout the day and this is reflected in the prices paid.
“Many thanks to everyone on the team at Bond Wolfe and of course our clients and bidders who helped to make this a record auction.”
