Fastener expert expands Lubrinox range with more than 1,200 new articles
Trusted leader in industrial supplies Fabory has added more than 1,200 new articles to its portfolio of Lubrinox premium stainless fasteners with built-in lubrication.
Fabory, which offers extensive quality fasteners as well as value-added services to optimise customer operations, has increased its range of pre-lubricated fasteners, which are used in the food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and general machine-building sectors.
Introducing a variety of machine screws, hex connecting nuts, set screws, flange nuts and more articles to support its current product offering, Fabory has expanded the Lubrinox range.
Lubrinox articles are available from stock through Fabory across a range of common DIN and ISO standards, with full batch traceability, suitable for any application where stainless steel is essential or food-grade compliance is a high priority.
Product category manager Jochem Oerlemans said: "As ‘the masters in fasteners’, Fabory is delighted to expand our range of Lubrinox fasteners, which are specifically designed to prevent galling, minimising machine downtime and reducing the total cost of ownership.
“Each bolt and nut arrives with a factory-applied, high-performance lubrication coating that dramatically reduces friction while remaining completely dry, odourless and invisible. When bolts seize, gall or require time-consuming greasing to prevent galling from happening, the impact cascades directly into labour hours, production delays and avoidable waste.
“To address this problem, a growing number of original equipment manufacturers are shifting to Lubrinox pre-lubricated stainless steel fasteners, which are de-risking machine performance in the field for their end users.
“Lubrinox fasteners are also UV-detectable, supporting quality inspection in regulated manufacturing environments and they perform safely across a wide temperature range, from deep-cold storage applications to high-temperature processing equipment.”
Among the customers to utilise Lubrinox is Lopital, a Netherlands-based manufacturer of healthcare transfer solutions, which faced significant challenges when using stainless steel components to assemble its products for wet environments.
Lopital required a fastening solution that would eliminate the need for greases and lubricants while preventing galling, to work across its full range of fastener sizes including bolts, nuts, screws and washers, while simplifying assembly processes and reducing maintenance time.
Hans Vermeer, Lopital operational manager, said: “The biggest benefit is we do not need to grease or lubricate our assembly materials since we can use stainless steel on stainless steel without issue or danger of getting fixed during assembly.
