Bilston man accused of historic murder to stand trial later this year
A man from Bilston will stand trial in November for the murder of a Tipton based taxi driver 18 years ago.
David Harrison, aged 76, is accused of the fatal shooting of 39-year-old taxi driver, Harun Khan.
Mr Khan, a father-of-four, was shot outside his home in Tudor Street, Tipton, at 9.25pm on March 3, 2008 and taken to hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

Harrison also faces a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following another shooting, this time involving a 27-year-old man in Farthings Lane, Dudley, on December 14, 2007, and two counts of possessing a firearm.
He didn't appear at a hearing this morning (Friday) at Wolverhampton Crown Court, but Judge Michael Chambers set a date for trial of November 16, with the next case management date on April 10.
