Two girls taken to hospital following Walsall crash between e-scooter and bus
Police have confirmed that two girls have been taken to the hospital following a crash between a bus and an e-scooter in Walsall.
Emergency services were called to the scene of St Paul's Street, Walsall, just after 7.55pm on Tuesday (March 3), following reports of a collision involving an e-scooter and a bus.
On arrival, West Midlands Police found two girls, the riders of the e-scooter, who were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-changing.

An appeal for information has since been launched, with West Midlands Police asking anyone with information to contact them via their 101 number, or on the Live Chat service on their website, quoting reference 5308 of 3 March.
A force spokesperson said: "We were called just after 7.55pm yesterday evening (3 March) after reports of a collision involving an e-scooter and a bus on St Paul's Street, Walsall.
"Two girls, who were riding the e-scooter, were taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life-changing."
West Midlands Ambulance Service said that both girls received treatment at the scene following the crash, adding that their injuries are 'not believed to be life-threatening'.
A spokesperson said: "We were called shortly before 8pm to a road traffic collision involving a bus and an e-scooter on St Paul's Street in Walsall.
"One ambulance and the WMAS Critical Care Car attended the scene. Upon arrival, we found two teenage girls from the e-scooter. Both were assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious.
"They received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Walsall Manor Hospital for further assessment."
A large police cordon was seen in place around Bridge Street and Walsall Bus Station this morning; however, the force has confirmed that this is due to a suspicious package being found between Bridge Street and Walsall Bus Station.
Commuters faced delays as buses were diverted from the area; however, the cordon was reported as removed as of 8.30am this morning.
