Dudley man sentenced after assault

A Dudley man has given a suspended sentence after admitting assault occasioning bodily harm.

Jonathan Roberts, aged 27,  admitted the offence, which happened in June 2024, and appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

He was sentenced to two years in prison suspended for two years, given a rehabilitation activity requirement for 30 days and ordered to attend an accredited programme. 

Roberts, of   Elmwood Road, Dudley was also ordered to pay his victim £3,000 and given a three year restraining order,
