'Minor disruption' and road blocked as lorry collides with bridge in Wolverhampton
A lorry colliding with a bridge has led to a road being blocked in a Wolverhampton town.
West Midlands Roads has warned of delays to regular journeys after a lorry collided with a bridge on the A4098 Great Bridge Road in Bilston.
The roads authority warned of 'minor disruption' at around 9.11am today, announcing that the road had become blocked due to the collision.

A West Midlands Roads spokesperson said: "A4098 Great Bridge Road, Bradley, Bilston.
"Road blocked. A lorry has collided with the bridge. Expect delays."
Tram services have also been affected due to the crash, with West Midlands Metro warning that services are now unable to run between Bradley Lane and Wednesbury Parkway.
A Metro spokesperson said: "Due to a lorry hitting Great Bridge Road bridge, trams are unable to run between Bradley Lane and Wednesbury Parkway.
"Trams can only use one side of the line between Priestfield and Bradley Lane.
"Customers will need to change trams at Priestfield and Bradley Lane to continue their journey."
It is unknown yet as to the condition of those involved; however, emergency services have been approached for further information.
