The masterplan, which covers plans for the town for the next 15 years to ensure it maintains its position in the Black Country as one of the four strategic centres, will act as a catalyst for ongoing and new regeneration schemes, unlocking opportunities to boost West Bromwich’s future.

This long-term vision, taking Sandwell into the 2040s, aims to boost business confidence through a series of regeneration projects including the creation of a new Metro gateway and new town square for events.

There are also plans for new green links, squares, parks and improvements to the sustainable transport network.

The vision to create a vibrant, active and sustainable town centre includes a focus on making it an attractive setting for residential and employment purposes.
