Cannabis seized and arrest made following drugs warrant in Aldridge

Police have seized a quantity of cannabis and arrested a man for drug offences after executing a warrant in Aldridge.

Officers from the West Midlands Police Proactive Crime Team carried out the warrant at an address on Herbert Road, Aldridge, Walsall, this morning, shortly after 7am. 

During the operation, police seized a large amount of cannabis, suspected cannabis vapes and synthetics as well as cash from the outbuilding.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He remains in custody while police continue their enquiries.

Sergeant Jason Pinches, priority crime team supervisor, said: "This was an excellent seizure where a large amount of cannabis was seized and one man arrested.
