Police have charged two people after bank cards were stolen from a car in Walsall town centre
West Midlands Police has charged two people over stealing from a car in Walsall town centre.
Officers were alerted to a vehicle being broken into along Bridge Street at around 1.30am yesterday (November 11).
Shortly afterwards they recovered bank cards which had been taken from the vehicle.
Joseph Hems, aged 22 from Pelsall, has now been charged with theft from a motor vehicle.
He was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (12 November).
Deanna Grocutt, from Walsall, has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and possession of drugs.
The 42-year-old is due to appear before Dudley Magistrates on 2 December.
A spokesperson for WMP said: “We know the impact and inconvenience of vehicle crime and we'll always look to take action.”
