Now, Make More has made an urgent appeal for household essentials and hygiene products to send to those who have been severely affected by the devastating hurricane.

The needed items include feminine hygiene products, baby items (formula, nappies, sterilisation kits), hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, deodorant), and clothing for all ages.

Making the appeal, Simone Stone, head of community engagement at Make More, said: "We are reaching out to ask for your support in our community collection drive for families in Jamaica who have been severely affected by the recent hurricane.

"Many have lost their homes and belongings, and are in urgent need of essential supplies."

Any donations can be dropped off at the Make More at The Walsall Hub, in Green Lane, Walsall.

All donations needed to be in by November 27.
