Netherton woman faces burglary and assault charges following incidents in Oldbury and Dudley

A woman's been charged with burglary and assaulting two police officers officers after an incident in Dudley

Police were investigating after a property in Netherton was broken into last month, and a sound bar was taken along with a games console, controller, and games.

Chloe Willis was later arrested and charged with burglary.

The 25-year-old has also been charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker, after two police officers were assaulted.

One was kicked at Russells Hall Hospital, while another was kicked at a police custody suite in Oldbury.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Thankfully, neither was seriously injured but we never tolerate any form of assault against our officers."

Willis, from Cops Road, Netherton, was due before Wolverhampton Magistrates today (Monday).
