The car was travelling along the bypass away from Kidderminster when it approached the small roundabout at the junction of the B4195 Bewdley Road North.
The Mini is believed to have then left the road and collided with the base of the roundabout, then crashed onto the roundabout itself.
The car eventually came to a stop on a grass verge just before the B4195 roundabout exit.
West Mercia Police said that the driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
No arrests have been made so far.
A force spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw the Mini car either before the collision or the collision itself, or who has captured any of it on a dashcam, to come forward.
"Anyone with information should contact PC Benjamin Hudson at benjamin.hudson@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident 449i of 25 October."
