However, October also brings the school half-term holidays, leaving many parents across the Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Sandwell asking how they will keep their little monsters occupied over the week.

Well, fear not, as the spookiest month of the year also brings plenty of fang-tastic events to sink your teeth into. 

Without further ado, here are eight of the most spooktacular events to enjoy as a family this October Half Term holiday.

Spooky Spectacular at West Midlands Safari Park

Get ready for a fang-tastic Halloween adventure at West Midlands Safari Park, Bewdley.

Running from October 18 to November 2, the event features a list of roaming characters, the exciting Monster Mystery Train and the brand-new Frankie's Monster Mash show.

As well as plenty of characters to interact with, the park will be packed full of themed photo opportunities, filled with hundreds of pumpkins, perfect for capturing the memories of the day.

Not to forget the fantastic range of animals to see during the park's widely-loved Safari Drive.
