£20,000 reward offered for Walsall shooting suspect information after an innocent man in Gloucester was targeted
Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward for information about a biker who travelled from Birmingham to Gloucester and was later dropped off in Walsall as police probe the shooting of an innocent man.
The independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward to identify a biker who travelled from Birmingham to Gloucester - and was later dropped off by taxi in Walsall - who has been linked to the shooting of a man which was deemed a case of 'mistaken identity' on January 18.
It comes after two step-brothers, both from Erdington, Birmingham - called Simeon Bernard, aged 39, and Darren Atkins, aged 42 - were recently jailed for their part in the shooting; however, the third man was not identified.

The two stepbrothers were jailed for a combined total of 28 years in August.
The victim, who is believed to be innocent in the incident, fought off the attackers. However, he was left traumatised and received extensive leg injuries, which resulted in his leg being amputated.
After the shooting, the three men travelled on two motobikes to Atkins' home in Birmingham, where a local taxi was called.

It is believed that the third suspect got in and was dropped off at the junction of Churchill Road and Morris Avenue in Walsall.
Crimestoppers are supporting the police investigation into the third suspect involved - offering a reward of £20,000 for information passed directly to them, and that results in an arrest and conviction of anyone linked to the incident.

Beth Simpson, Crimestoppers' Gloucestershire Regional Manager, said: "This is an alarming case where someone has been shot and seriously injured, and this is why our charity has now become involved.
"We believe there are people who know who else was involved but who feel that going to the police is not an option. Do you know who the third person was? Have you heard anything about what happened?

"Coming forward is never easy, but if you contact Crimestoppers, you can still make a difference whilst remaining completely anonymous. You may also be eligible for a reward of up to £20,000 if your information leads to the conviction of the third man involved."
Information can be given to Crimestoppers anonymously via their 0800 555 111 number or via the charity’s website.
