'Expect delays': Drivers warned to plan ahead as six-day lane closure put into place for major Sandwell road
A Tipton road is to become one-way for six days to make way for National Grid works.
West Midlands Roads has warned of expected delays to regular travel as a road in Sandwell is to become one-way for a six-day period.
The roads administrator warned that from today the A4037 Dudley Road, Tipton, will become one-way towards the junction with Birmingham New Street due to essential works by National Grid.

The lane will be closed from October 20 to October 26, with West Midlands Roads warning to 'expect delays' and to 'plan ahead'.
On X, West Midlands Roads said: "A4037 Dudley Road, Tipton Road closed one-way towards the junction with Birmingham New Road due to essential works by National Grid.
"Closed 20th October - 26th October. Plan ahead, expect delays to your journey."
