Road partially blocked and buses diverted after crash in West Bromwich
A road has been partially blocked following a collision in West Bromwich.
West Midlands Roads has warned of disruption to regular travel following a collision on the A418 Kelvin Way, West Bromwich.
The incident was first reported by the roads authority at 5.09pm, with a post on social media to say the route had become partially blocked between Trinity Way and Bromford Lane.
Minor disruption was reported due to the crash, with delays exacerbated due to ongoing roadworks in the area.
A West Midlands Roads spokesperson said: "A4182 Kelvin Way, between Trinity Way and Bromford Lane, West Bromwich.
"Collision near the ongoing roadworks area. Road partially blocked. Expect delays."
A number of bus services have also been diverted due to the incident, with National Express West Midlands warning of delays to regular travel.
A spokesperson said: "Collision on Kelvin Way and Spond Lane, West Bromwich.
"Services 48, 49, and 80 diverted towards West Bromwich only via: Trinity Way and Boulton Road. Apologies for any disruption to your journey."
