Wolverhampton police discovered a burnt-out bike on grassland as they investigate residents concerns about off-road bikers
The Bilston and East Park team from West Midlands Police headed out on Friday (October 3) to carry out another off-road bike operation in response to residents’ concerns about noise and nuisance bikes causing issues in the community.
Joining forces with WMP Traffic team, the officers discovered a burnt-out bike on grassland while on patrol in the area.

A WMP spokesperson said: “Similar operations have been running throughout the summer and are due to continue throughout the coming colder months as we continue to combat those breaking the laws of the road and behaving antisocially.
“The message is simple – if you’re found using an illegal off-road bike, it could be seized and crushed, and appropriate action will be taken.
“If you have any information on nuisance bikes in your area get in touch with us and make a report. Call us on 101, or head to our website to make a report.”
