Fire crews respond following south Staffordshire barn blaze

Fire teams have responded to a barn fire in south Staffordshire.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service have responded to reports of an early morning barn fire on Sugarloaf Lane, in Iverley, south Staffordshire.

The blaze was first reported at 12.48am, and saw crews shuttle water to the incident from Greyhound Lane in Norton, Stourbridge.

Morning commuters have been urged to 'take care' if travelling in the area, with the fire service advising all to avoid the Sugarload area where possible.

On X, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We currently have crews attending a barn fire on Sugarloaf Lane in Iverley, South Staffordshire. 

"Crews are currently shuttling water to the incident from Greyhound Lane in Norton, Stourbridge. Please take care if travelling in this area, and avoid Sugarloaf Lane where possible."
