Council reviewing licence of West Bromwich pub after police complain about links to serious crime
Sandwell Council is reviewing the licence of a West Bromwich pub after a senior West Midlands Police officer linked the premises to 'serious crime" after a stabbing.
The Railway Inn, Harford Street, is popular with patrons who party the night through until the early hours at the weekends.
However, West Midlands Police were contacted by nurses at Midlands Metropolitan Hospital after a man presented himself suffering from knife wounds.
The stabbing victim claimed he had been attacked at the Railway Inn at closing time on Saturday, September 13.
