Now, the two TV regulars have spoken ahead of their shows, with Mr Biggins saying that he 'loves' pantomime, despite initially thinking that it was below him.

Mr Biggins said: "For over 50 years, I turned down pantomime. I thought, 'No, no, this is beneath me, I'm an actor'. But they kept asking me, and eventually they mentioned money.

"This was 50 years ago, and it was a thousand pounds a week. The initial thing was to do it for the money, but then I suddenly realised how much I love it. It's fantastic!"

Gok Wan also revealed a bit about his upcoming on-stage performance, where he will play Gok Scarlette, with the TV fashionista saying that he will have six songs, and joking that Faye Tozer will 'sing all of them' as he 'has a voice that can clean ovens'.

He said: "Tozer is going to sing all of my songs. I've had a chat with her already.

"They've given me six songs to sing, but I've got a voice that can clean ovens, so Faye has told me that she's going to sing every single one of them."

The DJ and radio star later joked with his castmate, saying, 'I've said it now, you've got to do it!'

Also appearing on-stage will be English pop singer Matt Cardle, Panto legend Andrew Ryan and Emmerdale actress, Sandra Marvin.

Robin Good The Magical Panto Adventure will take to the stage from December 20 until February 1, with tickets on sale from £20 per person.
