Two suspected Sandwell drug dealers charged following separate incidents involving a foot chase and a vehicle being stopped by police

Two suspected drug dealers, both from areas of Sandwell have been charged over the weekend.

Andrew Graham, aged 32, of Birmingham, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and acquiring criminal property. 

The charges come after West Midlands Police recovered an amount of drugs and a sum of cash following a foot chase near Windmill Lane, Smethwick, just before 9pm on Thursday, September 18.

In a separate incident on the same day, Mohammed Khan, aged 43, of Wednesbury, was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after officers recovered a quantity of Class B drugs.

These charges come after officers from West Midlands Police stopped a vehicle on West Bromwich High Street at around 1pm, where, following a search, a quantity of cannabis was seized.

Both men appeared before magistrates over the weekend, with both being remanded into custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month. 

A WMP spokesperson said: "Two suspected drug dealers from Sandwell have been charged.

"Andrew Graham, aged 32 from Birmingham, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs and acquiring criminal property.

"This comes after we recovered class A drugs and a sum of cash following a foot chase in near Windmill Lane in Smethwick on Thursday, just before 9pm.

"Mohammed Khan, aged 43, from Wednesbury, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, after we recovered a quantity of class B drugs. 

"Both men appeared at magistrates over the weekend and have been remanded in custody to next appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month."
