Wolverhampton women join the pack as She Wolves Launch takes off with Sister Strolls
Women from across Wolverhampton turned out in force, ready to connect, walk, and share in something fresh and exciting for the city.
The city's newest women’s community group, She Wolves, launched on Sunday with its first ever Sister Strolls event at West Park.
The morning began with a friendly meet-up at the bandstand, before the group set off on a walk around the park, filled with conversation, laughter, and the spark of new friendships, then gathered afterwards at the Tea Rooms for coffees and more chatter.
It was an event which took inspiration from Wolverhampton’s iconic wolf symbol and organisers said She Wolves was all about strength, connection, and empowerment and was a movement for women who want more friendships, more opportunities, and more experiences together.
One of the organisers said: “We were blown away by the response to our very first event.
"To see so many women show up and instantly create such a warm, uplifting atmosphere was really special.

"This is just the beginning for She Wolves, and we’re so excited for what’s to come.”
One attendee said: “It was so lovely to be part of this.
"I met new people, felt really uplifted, and left looking forward to the next one already.
"You can feel there’s something special starting here.”
She Wolves has a series of events lined up, from regular walks and book clubs to Parkrun meetups, workshops, and much more, with each gathering designed to be welcoming, fun, and empowering and a space for women of all ages and backgrounds to come together.
