Everything you need to know about the Pride event set to light up Walsall Arboretum this weekend

The annual celebration of Walsall Pride is returning tomorrow (Saturday), bringing together people from all walks of life for a day of unity and fun.

This year's event will be headlined by chart toppers Liberty X on the main stage, with the cabaret stage featuring Tomara Thomas as the main act.

Held at Walsall Arboretum Extension at Broadway North, there will also be  a dance arena, fair rides, inflatables, licensed bars, market stalls, health and information stalls and food vendors.

The celebrations are set to commence from noon tomorrow (Saturday) and continue until 7pm - there is also a pre-party taking place at The Red Lion, Park Street Walsall today (Friday).

Tickets at £8 for general entry and £5 for children are available from the Red Lion or the event website at www.walsallpride.co.uk

A spokesperson for the event said: "Walsall Pride is more than just a celebration; it is a powerful statement of solidarity and acceptance. 

"The event aims to inspire everyone to embrace equality and demonstrate that people from all backgrounds can come together to celebrate their unique identities.

"This year's line up is better than ever and we are really looking forward to welcoming people back or those who are attending for the first time."
