Soon-to-be grandfather jailed after masked violent robbery at Wolverhampton convenience store
A soon-to-be granddad has been jailed for taking part in a violent robbery at an Wolverhampton convenience store.
Dean Pemberton, 50, from Wednesbury, and two other masked men terrorised a lone staff member at One Stop Shop, Oxley, in February.
She was punched in the face and had hair pulled out, leaving with her with physical and mental injuries which she is still struggling with.
She said: "This really knocked me about. I am too scared to work in the shop where the attack happened. I have had to go to hospital with my injuries and having my hair pulled out was very painful."
Pemberton was found guilty of robbery after a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court during which the jury was shown CCTV footage of the incident.
