West Bromwich man appears in court charged with the murder of Shara Miller
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Shara Miller in Smethwick on Monday.
Tanveer Singh, 31, of Leopard Lane, West Bromwich, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.
Singh was only required to confirm his name. No pleas were entered. Magistrates sent the case to Birmingham Crown Court where Singh will appear tomorrow (Friday) when he will be expected to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty.
Singh was remanded in custody.
Shara Miller, aged 41, was found off Woodburn Road, Smethwick, just after 6am on Monday and confirmed dead at the scene.

West Midlands Police arrested Singh, 31, on Tuesday and charged him with Ms Miller's murder on Wednesday evening.
Two other men who were arrested in connection with the case have been released with no further action.
The force said they believed Ms Miller had been killed in the early hours of the morning.
West Midlands Police is continuing to ask the public for any information surrounding her movements before 1am on Monday.
