Alleged drug dealer claims notorious Wolverhampton's Fire Town Gang forced him to keep a loaded gun after street beating
An alleged drug dealer claimed renowned Wolverhampton gang Fire Town forced him to keep a loaded gun after beating him in the street.
Dalton Bowen, 21, was arrested on October 25 last year, during a raid by West Midlands Police which led to the confiscation of a loaded gun, ammunition, drugs and cash in Bilston.
Bowen, of Boswell Road, is standing trial for firearms offences, including possessing a gun and ammunition, and drug charges at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Denying the charges, Bowen claims he was forced into holding the gun and selling drugs after being beaten by the notorious gang.
The Fire Town Gang have become one of Wolverhampton's most feared organised crime outfits in the last 10 years and have been linked to shootings and drug dealing.
