14 Black Country restaurants, pubs and cafes handed top marks in latest round of food hygiene ratings
More restaurants, cafes, pubs and takeaways across the Black Country have been handed food hygiene ratings following their recent inspections.
New Food Standards Agency ratings have been given out to restaurants, cafes and pubs across the Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell, judging the eateries' attention to cleanliness, food safety and food handling.
The ratings provide customers with a snapshot of the hygiene standards of many of the food spots across the region, with a rating of five being the maximum grade possible.

A score of five is considered 'very good', four 'good', three 'generally satisfactory', two 'some improvement necessary', one 'major improvement necessary' and zero 'urgent improvement required'.
