Six new food hygiene inspection ratings dished out to Black Country businesses
More restaurants, cafés, pubs and takeaways across the Black Country have been handed their food hygiene ratings following inspections.
Ratings are given out to enterprises based on their standards of 'hygienic food handling', 'cleanliness and condition of facilities and building' and 'management of food safety'.
They provide customers with information of hygiene standards at pubs, nightclubs, bars, takeaways, restaurants and other eateries across the region.
A score of five is considered 'very good', four 'good', three 'generally satisfactory', two 'some improvement necessary', one 'major improvement necessary' and zero 'urgent improvement required'.
