All lines reopened after vehicle collides with bridge in Wolverhampton
Rail delays were reported on Wolverhampton to Birmingham lines after a vehicle crashed into a bridge.
All rail lines from Birmingham to Wolverhampton have reopened after a vehicle collided with a bridge linking the two stations.
West Midlands Railway said that the vehicle struck a bridge in the Wolverhampton area earlier today, with all lines becoming blocked as a result.
Disruption to regular travel times was eased as of 4.16pm, with all lines reopening.
The rail group said that some delays may still remain for some trains on the Wolverhampton to Birmingham lines, with the group urging you to check your travel time online before travelling.
A West Midlands Railway spokesperson said: "There a few trains which may be delays changed or have been cancelled on this route.
"To see if this will affect your journey, check the real-time journey planner, or use our Live Departure and Arrivals to see trains at your station."
