Walsall shop worker 'threatened with weapon' by 'two masked men' in robbery

A member of staff at a Walsall shop was threatened with a weapon by "two masked men" during a robbery.

The knifepoint robbery took place at a store in Broadway North just before 5am on Wednesday (June 25).

West Midlands Police said two masked men entered the store, threatened a worker and took cash before fleeing in a white vehicle.

Police are appealing for information after a knifepoint robbery in Walsall

The force confirmed the staff member was left "shaken" but uninjured.

A police spokesperson added: "We're keen to hear from anyone who was in the area, near the junction with The Crescent, at the time and can assist our investigation.
