Advance registration is now closed due to chip checking preparations for the annual challenge which is being held this Saturday(28) at WV Active's Aldersley Stadium from 8am-8pm.  This year proceeds will go to The Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre, Central Youth Theatre and The Rotary Charitable Trust.

Organisers Wolverhampton Rotary Club said on its website: "In order that micro-chips can be prepared in time for Saturday, we have had to stop taking further advance entries, but you can still put your Best Foot Forward.

"We will be taking entries at Aldersley throughout Saturday, at any time that suits you, from 8am until 8pm. There is no charge for youngsters up to and including 15 years and £5 for 16 years and upwards."

Participants are not required to seek any sponsor cash, but simply need to complete laps of the stadium track which will unlock £1 per lap from a special event patrons fund which will go to the chosen charities. A personal micro-chip is given out to keep tally of how many laps are done.
