Thieving Wolverhampton duo who acted together to steal more than £1,000 of goods admit to their crimes
A pair of thieves from Wolverhampton who worked together to steal around £1,100 worth of goods have admitted their offences.
David Gold and Natalie O'Kelly took items from shops and a car in Brewood, Perton, Bilston and Wolverhampton. The thefts took place between April and May.
On May 9, the pair broke into a car that was parked in Brewood, near Wolverhampton.
They took bags, bank cards and medication from inside, as well as using the stolen cards to pay for goods in nearby shops.
Gold and O’Kelly then took £140-worth of stock from Sainsbury’s on Anders Square, Perton, Staffordshire Police said.

The next day, they took £140-worth of goods from the same store, as well as £330-worth of goods the day after that.
They also stole more than £450-worth of goods from One Stop in Wolverhampton and B&Q in Bilston.
At Newcastle-under-Lyme Magistrates Court at an earlier hearing, O’Kelly pleaded guilty to five counts of theft and one count of fraud by false representation. Gold admitted five counts of theft.
On Friday (June 13) at the same court, Gold, aged 47, was sentenced to 30-weeks imprisonment. O'Kelly, aged 39, is due to be sentenced on June 18.
Staffordshire Police Chief Inspector Al Lyford, from the south Staffordshire local policing team, said: “Burglary, theft and robbery is a blight on local communities and I want to be clear that we will continue to take robust action against those responsible for these crimes.
“By working proactively in this space, we’ve been able to reduce the total number of burglaries, robberies and thefts from people from December 2023 to December 2024, when compared to the previous year.
“Positive action will continue against those committing harmful offences in Staffordshire."
