Boy, 16, arrested after 'high-value cars' stolen in Dudley burglaries

A teenager has been arrested in connection with burglaries in Dudley which have seen "high-value cars" stolen.

The 16-year-old boy has been arrested in relation to six car key burglaries and an attempted burglary in March and April.

West Midlands Police said "several" burglaries saw "high-value cars" stolen.

The incidents happened in Halesowen, Netherton, Kingswinford, Dudley and Cradley Heath.

Police have asked anyone with information to get in touch.

In a statement on Monday afternoon, a force spokesperson added: "The teenager remains in custody for questioning.

"We know the impact of such crimes on our communities, and we'll take action against anyone who commits offences."
