Police investigate disorder involving machetes at Bilston pub as one woman arrested
Police are investigating a disorder involving machetes at a Wolverhampton pub.
The incident took place at a pub on Moseley Road, Bilston, at around 2.40pm on Monday (June 2).
When police arrived, those involved were no longer at the scene, West Midlands Police said.
A 38-year-old woman was taken into police custody shortly after on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A force spokesperson said: "We are investigating disorder involving machetes at a pub on the Moseley Road, Bilston, yesterday (Monday) shortly after 2.40pm.
"When officers arrived those involved were no longer at the scene. Shortly after a 38-year-old woman was taken into custody on suspicion of assisting an offender.
"Officers were sent to two schools nearby to offer reassurance as we continue to investigate and find those involved.
