Driver arrested after 'risky' late-night police car chase in Wordsley is called off
A driver has been arrested after a stolen car led police on a late-night pursuit.
Officers from Brierley Hill Police engaged in the pursuit late on Friday (April 25) to try and stop a stolen car.
The officers called off the pursuit due to risk, but subsequent enquiries assisted the officers in identifying and arresting a driver on suspicion of five offences, including dangerous driving.
A spokesman for Brierley Hill Police said: "Last night, we pursued a stolen car in Wordsley.
"The pursuit was abandoned due to risk.
"However, enquiries assisted us in identifying a driver, who is now in custody for five offences including dangerous driving."
