Mayor of Walsall pays tribute to late Pope Francis
The Mayor of Walsall has offered heartfelt condolences to the Catholic community following the death of the Pope.
The Mayor of Walsall Councillor Anthony Harris paid tribute to His Holiness Pope Francis, who died on Sunday at the age of 88, offering condolences on behalf of the whole of Walsall.
He said: “It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of His Holiness Pope Francis.
"On behalf of the borough of Walsall, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Catholic community both here and around the world.”
