'Avoid the area': Fire crews called out to Walsall garden blaze

Fire crews were called to a garden blaze in Walsall.

West Midlands Fire Service firefighters rushed to the scene of Scarborough Road, Walsall, following reports of a garden fire in the area at around 10.30pm last night. 

Four crews were dispatched to the scene. 

The fire service urged people to 'avoid the area where possible'.

A West Midlands Fire Service spokesperson said: "We have four crews in attendance at Scarborough Road, Walsall, where they have responded to a fire in a garden.

"Please avoid the area, where possible."

Emergency service have been approached for further information.
