The Hangar: Licence review thrown out after council comes to agreement with owners
A licence review in Wolverhampton's The Hangar has been thrown out after the council came to an agreement with owners over future event details.
Wolverhampton's The Hangar was brought into a row after they were accused by West Midlands Police of 'blatantly disregarding public safety' during a 'family' dog show.
The concerns were raised following a 'Best of Bullies' event at The Hangar, Wolverhampton, in summer of 2024, where 'serious concerns' were raised by West Midlands Police after banned XL Bully breed was allowed to attend the event.
Following the concerns, a licensing committee was to meet on March 6 after the original meeting date of January 16 was postponed.
Now, a Wolverhampton Council spokesperson has said that the licence review 'was not required' after the council came to an agreement with the premises.
