Teenager arrested in Walsall after police recover samurai sword in foot chase

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in Walsall on suspicion of possessing a samurai sword.

Officers arrested the boy in the Bentley area of the borough at around 3.30am on Thursday morning following a foot chase.

Police say a samurai sword was recovered near to where the chase took place.

The teenager was taken into custody where he remains as police continue with enquiries.
