Man found dead in West Bromwich home
A man has been found dead at a house in West Bromwich.
Police have revealed the body of a man in his 60s was discovered at a property in Cottage Walk on Tuesday afternoon.
Forensic teams have been carrying out investigations inside the house, off Spon Lane.
West Midlands Police spokesman Brigg Ford said: "Inquiries are ongoing following the discovery by officers just before 4pm after they were alerted to the address by a member of the public concerned for the man's welfare.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a post mortem will be carried out in due course. The man is believed to be in his 60s but has not been formally identified at this stage.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact force CID on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
