Sidonio Conceicao, a Portugueses national, was last seen at around 8.30pm on Friday when he cycled over to see his brother who was at a friend's house in Gilby Road, Ladywood.

The 35-year-old stayed only a matter of minutes before leaving for his West Bromwich home, which he shares with family.

Sidonio is thought to have travelled back to West Bromwich along the Birmingham canal on his electric bicycle but when his brother returned home the following afternoon he found the house to be undisturbed as though Sidonio had not returned.

PC Helen Bailey, from Sandwell Police, said: "We are very concerned for Sidonio as this is out of character for him and everything appeared fine when he left his brother's company on Friday night.

"He has lived in the UK for around 10 years and in the West Midlands for around four years.

"He has a stable job and, as far as we are aware, there is no reason for him to have gone missing.

"We want to hear from anyone who may have seen Sidonio or knows of his whereabouts."

Sidonio is 6ft 3in tall, of slim build with dark brown, collar length curly hair, brown eyes, a dark brown moustache and goatee beard and speaks with a Portuguese accent.

He was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, black trainers, a dark coloured jumper and a black woolly hat, and was travelling on his silver electric pedal cycle which has large tyres and black boxes/casing on each side.

Anyone with information regarding Sidonio's whereabouts should call Sandwell Police by calling 101.
