Severe delays in Walsall after lorry sheds load

Heavy metal machinery fell from a lorry causing major delays on a main route into Walsall town centre.

The vehicle shed its load at the A454 Wolverhampton Road and Bloxwich Lane junction at around 1.40pm today.

Part of the route heading towards the town centre near junction 10 of the M6 was blocked with a crane called to help remove the machinery.
