More than 3,600 homes left without power

More than 3,600 homes in Halesowen were left without electricity due to an underground cable fault.

Published May 1, 2014

The power went off at around 3.20pm yesterday with 3,650 properties in the town affected.

Officials from Western Power Distribution said the supply had been restored to the homes within 20 minutes.

The rest were back on by 6pm.
