A 12-year-old boy was critically injured after being hit by a car in Staffordshire.

A 12-year-old boy was critically injured after being hit by a car in Staffordshire.
The accident happened on Bevan Lee Road, West Chadsmoor, Cannock, at 1.20pm yesterday.
The youngster suffered serious head and abdominal injuries.
He was airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
