A dog-themed exhibition at an art gallery is proving a hit with members of the public.

The exhibition at Stafford's Shire Hall Gallery is the latest creation by talented Halifax artist Olivia Brown, who is best known for her unique ceramic sculptures of dogs and animals.

Reggie's Roller Palace is a vintage take on the modern cult of celebrity, conveyed with humour using dogs.

The show sees the return of Elvis The Whippet as a celebrity judge at the grand final of the annual Canine Roller Dance, hosted by Reggie. The exhibition features more than 100 hand-made audience members, acrobatic roller-skating canines and a dog formation team called 'Kenny and the Keneavils.'

A range of Reggie's Roller Palace souvenirs are also available alongside a selection of contemporary crafts.

Andrew Cliff, a volunteer at the Shire Hall, said the exhibition has been a real hit with visitors. It runs until May 13.
