Two hurt in Midland accidents

An 11-year-old girl and a man in his forties were seriously injured after being knocked down in two separate accidents.

The girl was hit by a car at around 4pm yesterday in All Saints Way, West Bromwich.

She was flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital suffering from a head injury.

The man was injured in Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, just after 11.30pm yesterday.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with head and leg injuries.
